I've been using this to mix up various Cytomax protein products, and it works great. If you've been mixing using a glass and spoon, you'll be amazed at how improved your supplement is after a shake in this bottle, no more poorly-mixed, grainy mud.
Update: I've now been using this bottle regularly for about a year and a half. It still works great. Seals well, cleans easily.
Tips:
1) Put about 1/2 inch of water in before adding your powder. This will help prevent bits of dried powder from accumulating along the bottom edge, where it's hard for the mixer ball to reach.
2) Rinse it out as soon as you're done with it. As long as I rinse it out (a couple swirls, then fill it half way, close it, shake it, and rinse it again) immediately after use, it doesn't seem to require any more significant cleaning. If I forget about it and it dries up overnight, then I have to break out the scrub brush.

This is not a blender replacement, but if you're looking for something to mix shakes without waking up your family in the morning. This is excellent! The mixing ball works really well and it's much easier to clean than mixing cups with plastic 'strainer' mixers. And if you're worried, but ball is "springy" so it's quite easy to flatten it for cleaning. I use it in the mornings for protein shakes and it does a great job. It may leave a few little clumps, but it still works much better than other bottles I've used. I doubt any shaker bottle will ever work as good as a blender, but this one seems better than most. Also, the seal and threads on these (I got two of them) are solid. I haven't seen any signs of leaking and you'd have to work to cross-thread them.

I bought this bottle so I could bring my shakes to work with me and not make a mess with a cup and spoon (and have to drink a lumpy shake anyway!). I realized I wasn't shaking my drinks enough at first but when I did, there were no lumps or clumps at all! It works great and is very easy to clean. I rinse it out after I use it and when I bring it home I just run some soapy water and a sponge around in it to get anything that the rinse missed. It is convenient, it doesn't leak and it works really well! I highly recommend this product!

It's a little too soon to rant and rave about how much I love my Blender Bottle, but in the two days I've had it, I've dug it. Big time.
I'm a weiner who has to mix my Amazing Grass green juice with a chemial-riffic Crystal Lite to be able to ingest it. The CL is BRIGHT red and I spilled it all over my desk in the process of trying to mix it earlier this week. That's when I went to Amazon and discovered the Blender Bottle.
The BB with it's awesome Blenderball technology makes a grainy breakfast smoother than ever. I can't wait to try it with Spiro-tiene, which is KNOWN for being practically "unmixable." It's also great for whisking up egg substitute before microwaving at work.
I did the "grab bag" selection and got green, which probably wasn't my first choice, but for that price (and the thrill of a little surprise opening it up, I think this is definitely the best option on Amazon. Just be aware that a "20 oz" bottle only measures 12 oz. If you fill it up to the rim it's probably (possibly?) 20 oz, but the grades on the side just go through 12. No big deal for me, but might matter to some one.
I only hope this little beauty lasts as long as the other posts have suggested without leaking. If so, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made :)
